In 2000, Jon created and founded Westfield Bank. The rest is history. To date, Westfield has accumulated $250 million in assets and is one of the region's
fastest growing banks. It is owned by and affiliated with Westfield Insurance, which operates in 28 states with $4 billion in assets and revenues of
$1.5 billion.
Prior to creating Westfield Bank, Jon was CFO of Financial Stocks, Inc. in Cincinnati (1999-2000); CFO of Signal Corp and Signal Bank in Wooster, Ohio (1997-1999);
CFO of Summit Bank, Akron (1995-1999); and began his career as a member of the Banking Group of Ernst & Young LLP, Cleveland, where he worked from 1984-1995.
Jon is passionate about giving his time and expertise to the community. He is a board member of Financial Stocks, Inc., an investment company managing $4 billion
in assets, and a board member of Southern Title Insurance Co. of Richmond, Virgina. He is chairman of the American Red Cross, Medina Chapter; trustee and vice president
of Leadership Medina County; member of the Medina County Chamber of Commerce; on the advisory board of the University of Akron's Department of Finance; member of the
Blue Coats of Medina County; and a trustee of the Catawba Orchard Beach homeowners association.
Jon earned a Bachelors degree in accounting in 1984 from Miami University and received his CPA designation in 1986. He has two daughters, Courtnie and Emma, and in his
spare time Jon enjoys golfing, boating, skiing and biking.
