Corbin has worked for both large regional banks and locally owned community banks.
Based on his 25 years of commercial lending experience working exclusively with middle
market and family owned businesses, Corbin believes that only local banks fully understand
the needs of the entrepreneur. He enjoys helping company owners and other decision makers
who are excited about their business and want an enthusiastic support team with deep
business and banking experience.
He graduated from Brown University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law,
and took graduate banking courses at the University of Michigan and State University of New
York (SUNY at Buffalo). Previous banking positions include vice president, commercial lending
at National City Bank; senior lender at Star Bank (now US Bank); interim president at
Enterprise Bank (which sold to Second National Bank, now Sky Bank) where he was senior lender.
Corbin joined Westfield Bank in 2000, where he is a senior loan officer.
Corbin has been active in the community and served on the boards of Hospice of Medina County,
The Salvation Army, Big Brothers and Sisters of Summit and Medina Counties, and is president of the parish
council for St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church. He was in the 2002 class of Leadership Medina County.
Corbin and his wife, Georgie, live in Medina Township. He enjoys golf, photography, book club discussions,
classical music, and backpacking
